Arrangements

What Is an Arrangement?

An arrangement is a conversion/reconceptualization of existing music. An example would be creating an orchestral version of a rock song.

A transcription, by contrast, is a takedown of existing music via notation. An example would be notating a drum part from an existing recording note-for-note.

What I Will Arrange

I will transform your chosen work into any ensemble and style you choose. Want to turn your favorite Mario track into a saxophone quartet? Want to turn your favorite Metallica song into a piano piece? Contact me and we will make this a reality.

Pricing

Pricing will vary depending on the complexity of the music – and as such, accurate pricing details for your project will be available through contact. I will offer full transparency regarding the expected amount of hours needed to complete the arrangement, as well as an outline of costs associated with the number of instruments, length of piece, complexity, etc. Any additional creative requests – such as reharmonization, rhythmic differentiation, change in song structure – will also contribute to the total price. I do not charge by the hour for arrangements – instead, I charge a flat rate.
